It is not common for humans to persevere when the going gets rough because on a general, most people would go for anything that comes easy and without much hustle. In Life, career, relationships, business, you name it.
They say that when the ‘going gets tough, the tougher keep going’ and that rings true to this quote. I am a firm believer in unlocking opportunities especially in the midst of a storm. Not running from it. There is a Swahili saying that goes, ‘Mvumilivu hula mbivu,’ that translates to ‘one who perseveres most eats the ripest fruit.’
It is then up to us to determine where our actions lie on the grand scheme of things. Give up, or press on.
